I honestly thought a plane was crashing at first because the sight was so odd. Just and orange thing searing across the sky. I don’t know exactly what I saw, but I figured meteor. And with the meteor shower alerts in the news it seemed likely

It looked like it was burning out at the end and parts were orange and breaking off then dying out. I have no idea if that was correct or not though.
